I am Time, Existence, History, and Memory
Egypt lives because I remember

And I remember
I remember Who I am
I Remember My NAME
My Pen is Eternity, my Ink is Forever
As long as I remember
Your name
You will live

Reflection on Golden Gate

The reference image is of course the Golden Gate in San Francisco, which I was able to drive across with my daughter in a first trip together as two adult women, taking a vacation because we wanted to, doing things we had never done before.

Seshat of the Library was my goddess for my first quarter class. She has fallen aside in the books of Egyptian and Witchcraft magic, yet it is due to her builders and scribes that we know anything of Egypt at all. She managed architecture, accounting, astronomy, writing, and even education for the pharaoh.

So do most writers, many artists, teachers, and others who would express the knowing, the experiences of life. What lies ahead of me at the end of the MA program is hidden in the glow of sunrise or sunset, depending on how you look at the image. My goals are set for today, but may change as I learn more and as I grow. But I hope that my name will not soon be forgotten, that I will someday be known for my work…even as Seshat is after three millennia!
